Mr Jihad El Khoury, formerly chairman of the Hotel Don Carlos Beach & Golf Resort, and Nikki Beach in Marbella has announced his new plans with the creation of a joint venture company with the newly launched Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts.
The creation of this joint venture
marks an exciting new step in the worldwide build up of the Nikki Beach
Hotel brand and will mean the development of up to 10 hotels and beach
clubs in 9 countries over the next 7 years, in parallel with a significant
number of similar projects undertaken directly by the Miami based company,
in new locations in the USA and around the world.
Known worldwide as The Sexiest Place on Earth, moving into the hotel sector is a natural progression for the Nikki Beach luxury brand which offers its customers not only a unique beach club experience, but also total immersion in a cool and glamorous lifestyle with Nikki Music, Nikki Clothing, Nikki Furniture, Nikki News, Nikki VIP cards and Nikki Style magazine.
The international beach club brand
was launched in Miami by entertainment entrepreneurs Jack & Lucia Penrod and
Eric Omores and has just celebrated a fabulously successful 10 years.
The winning formula has been repeated in Marbella, St. Tropez, St.
Barths, Hollywood, Sardinia, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas and
New York, among others, and the trend-setting brand knows no bounds.

Pioneering the ground-breaking Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts in Europe
is Jihad El Khoury, voted Marbella Businessman of the Year in 2006
for the hugely successful development and repositioning of Marbella’s
emblematic Don Carlos Beach & Golf Resort and Nikki Beach Marbella,
leading to the record-breaking sale of the property last summer. Also
collaborating in the hotel venture is partner Sary Arab, formerly Director
of Business Development of the Don Carlos Beach & Golf Resort, and
designer Gregory Gatserelia from Gatserelia Design, who will be heading
the design and architecture team.
The new company will be developing Nikki Beach
Hotels, beach clubs and mixed-use developments in exclusivity in leading
locations in Spain, Greece, Morocco, Egypt, Dubai, Turkey, Croatia,
Lebanon and Cyprus with the aim of completing 10 properties in the
next 7 years. 
The design of the contemporary hotels captures the essence of the leading beach club brand, by cleverly blending interior and exterior living areas, diaphanous spaces, a neutral colour palate with state-of-the art facilities. The villa style guest rooms feature an oversized mini bar stocked with champagne, wine and spirits and a cigar box.
Catering to the ultra-VIP, jet-set crowd, Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts will offer an exclusive range of 6-star services including reception at the airport by a Nikki Beach hostess, in-room check-in and check-out services; private butler service, , VIP Ultra Lounge and personalized in-room music selection.
The hotel concept will be developed boutique style, with properties of just 30-90 exclusive suites, featuring a timeless, luxury design subtly adapted with key architectural details of each particular country. Water features will abound, and rooms will be a minimum of 70 m2. Some of the hotels will be condo-style, allowing developers to market high-end properties to affluent buyers.

The
Nikki Beach Hotel concept will be offering 6 star luxury in a series
of trend-setting locations, with Mykonos, Dubai, Ibiza and Turkey
among the first openings around the world.
