Simply Red Concert in Marbella

Pop sensation, Simply Red are set to hit the shores of the Costa del Sol with a live performance on 30 July. Coming to Spain for the first time in ten years, the group have decided that Marbella is the place to play and will be bringing their unique blend of pop, rock, jazz and soul to the exclusive Puente Romano Tennis Club.

Their only performance on mainland Spain this year, the tour forms part of their celebration of the re-release if their hit album Stars, first released in 1991. Fans will see the group take centre stage on the centre court of the Puente Romano Tennis Club, with doors opening at 8pm and the live show starting from 10pm. And, with an intimate 2,600 person capacity at the venue, this really is a unique opportunity to see the band up close and personal.

Set to Split
Since the release of the first album, Picture Book in 1985, the group have gone from strength to strength, fast gaining an army of devoted fans. With the group celebrating 25 years of foot-tapping hits next year, flame haired, lead singer, Mick Hucknall has announced that the band will split at the end of their anniversary tour - leaving this possibly the last chance you’ll get to see the band live.
