Art, photography, garden furniture, plants and a faithful public combined at a one-off event held recently at Agrojardin garden centre....

The collective talents of three artists and three photographers came together in a one day only exhibition at an unusual venue close to Estepona one Saturday in April.

The spacious garden centre proved an interesting backdrop to the works of art, which were hung together in a square formed around a raised wooden deck. Creating an almost theatrical scene, the public could browse the diverse photographs and art works of the assembled artists, Gabi Bernhardt, Gary Edwards, Mugge Fischer, Johnny Gates and Marina Steel.

Ranging from romantic photographic portraits, vivid paintings of wild cats, dramatic bullfight photography and painting, along with striking nature photography, the work on display appealed to a wide array of artistic tastes.

With a steady flow of art lovers all afternoon, the wine and cava flowed as the public toasted the naturally talented six.
