Spence Clarke and Co. raises funds for Motor Neurone Charity
The 2nd Annual Spence Clarke Charity Golf Tournament was held recently to raise much needed funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
22 teams battled for pole position in super sunny conditions and received prizes and giveaways from numerous sponsors and donors. Nigel Goldman very kindly donated his superb auctioneering skills and whilst keeping everyone entertained raised a very worthwhile amount of EUR 1.300,00. The long established Marbella Accountancy firm, Spence-Clarke have just released the figure for the total raised on the day – An incredible EUR 8.671,00. In these difficult economic times, it is always good to know that there are still people out there who are willing to give both their time and resources towards helping others who, through no fault of their own, are less fortunate in life.
Texas Scramble
The format for the day was a Texas Scramble and the winners of the Neil Williamson Cup 2010 trophy was….
The Hoteliers Team with a net score of 57. Player were Gary Edwards (Hotel Photographer), Mark Wardell (Sunset Beach Club), Brian Davis, and Andy Chappel (Molino del Santo Ronda)
2nd Prize with a net score of 60,6 – Roger’s Rabbits (Roger Lomas, John Waterhouse, Jane Waterhouse, Adam Sagar)
3rd Prize with a net score of 61,25 Op de Beeck & Worth (Danni Worth, Chris Warren, Keith Johnson, Nick Davis)

There were 3 “Nearest the pin” competitions, marshalled by volunteers from the La Cala Lions, two of which were won by Robert Seaton and the other by Ray Theakston.
