Run by the team behind the Marbella Concert Orchestra and Marbella Big Band, Espiritu Joven is the very first bilingual music academy on the coast. Open to students of all ages and abilities, there is a wide range of musical instruments to choose from. Theory classes are also available and students have the opportunity to take the Guildhall proficiency exams. Ballet, tap, modern and hip hop classes for all ages (3+) and for all levels up to professional training. All students have the opportunity to take part in performances and examinations. Classes take place every afternoon and on Saturday mornings at the Manolo Santana Raquets Club under the direction of a British qualified teacher.

The Jayne Melville Academy offers classes in just about every form of dance you could imagine - Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop. There’s also drama and singing for all ages. Classes are held every day and all students have the opportunity to take part in examinations, competitions and performances. Events to look out for include the popular Wayne Sleep Workshops and the annual Charity Show.

The Municipal Conservatoire of Music and Dance is situated in Puente Ronda, right in the heart of the Old Town. It also has facilities in Avenida Marqués del Duero in San Pedro. Both locations offer elementary levels of study on a variety of musical instruments and in a range of dance styles. Individual lessons are complemented by classes in musical language and choral singing. Students have the opportunity to participate in concerts and dance performances and take proficiency exams in both theory and performance.

Solera de Jerez is a renowned dance school for children of all ages wishing to start or continue studies in flamenco. Directed by respected flamenco dancer, Laura Cano, students are guaranteed plenty of opportunity to perform the Spanish national dance in public.

Founded in 1988, Stagecoach now has 550 schools in the UK and is proud to be the world’s largest part-time theatre school. It complements normal academic studies with classes taking place outside of regular school hours. Student numbers are strictly limited to 15 pupils per group. Lesson time is divided equally between dance, drama and singing tuition. Stagecoach students give two presentations a year and have the opportunity to take the Trinity College London Examinations in musical theatre. After three years of training, budding stars of stage and screen can also audition for the annual Stagecoach production, held at a professional theatre each August.
