Tucked away just behind the Miraflores resort, with a huge terrace overlooking
the shimmering pool and Mediterranean beyond, this is one beachside eaterie that
you’ll never grow tired of. With a host of musical events to get you feeling
in the mood, a fabulous range of menus that cater to every taste, exceptional
value for money and a stunning location, Vista del Mar has something on offer
to tempt you through its doors.
Fiery Flamenco
Open six days a week (every day expect Monday) and open for daytime dining
and evening entertaining, the restaurant also has a range of top entertainment
offered
three nights a week. Every Wednesday the evening has a Spanish flavour with the
Essence of Andalucia Flamenco Show and a menu of traditional cuisine. Live guitar,
percussion and song create a rhythmic backdrop to the night as you tuck into
a menu of Spanish dishes. The demonstration of Queimada (the ancient fire drink)
is something that should not be missed and for those who fancy trying to recreate
some of the delicious food on offer, there’s even a live show of how to
make Paella and Prawns Pil Pil. The whole evening costs just 30€, tables
can be booked from 7.30pm onwards with the fantastic Flamenco show starting at
10pm.
Cool Cabaret
Come to the Cabaret on Saturdays where a different live act takes centre stage
each week. You’ll dine on a three course set menu, with a selection of
mouthwatering dishes such as, Warm Goat’s Cheese Salad with Honey & Pinenuts,
Thai Fish Cake with Sweet Chili Sauce, Stuffed Chicken Breast with Spinach and
Gorgonzola and a mixed Fish Platter with Mussels, Prawns & Herbs. Tables
can be booked from 7.30pm, with the cabaret show starting from 9.20pm and price
for the whole evening is a bargain 30€.
The BBQ Beat
Pop in on Sundays for a traditional Sunday lunch, or head down when the sun
sets to enjoy an evening barbeque. A whole range of tasty barbequed steak,
chicken,
sausages, pork and burgers will be flame grilled to perfection as you sit back
and enjoy the live entertainment from a range of acts that includes jazz and
tribute acts that range from Kylie and Madonna to Elvis and Tom Jones. Non-meat
eaters have not been forgotten with a massive array of the freshest salads on
offer (a minimum of eight). All food, plus the live entertainment costs just
25€.
The restaurant also offers outstanding value for money for families lunching
throughout the week. Their amazing Kids Eat Free offer means any child under
12 eats absolutely free (when accompanied by an adult) between 12pm and 5pm.
