Le Jardin de Fleur has been proud to support event organiser and Golf Professional, Gerry Bond, with the string of events since May of this year. All proceeds from the golf dates, dinner and auction go directly to the Jordon Bond Memorial fund in aid of cystic fibrosis. Recently re-opened, the stunning El Chaparral Golf course hosted the charity day and provided a delicious 4 course dinner, following which the winners were celebrated with prize-giving and acclaim from the evening’s compere and stand-up comedian Stan Boardman.“5000 euros has been raised from this event alone.”stated Gerry adding. “All donations have been very much appreciated and put to a very good cause”.

Famous Faces
Amongst the 150 people attending this particular event was Dennis Taylor and Black Abbots’ singer Clive Abbot. Many of the attendees had travelled from the UK specifically in support of Gerry and the cystic fibrosis charity.
After-dinner entertainment was also provided by the talented singer Ned Kelley, Comedian Duncan Norville and Stars in their Eyes finalist Paul McCoy.

In Aid of Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis is the UK’s most common, life threatening inherited disease. It affects the glands which secrete body fluids, damaging many organs including the lungs, the pancreas, the digestive tract and reproductive system. People with Cystic Fibrosis are prone to constant chest infections and malnutrition.

The Jordan Bond Memorial fund helps children with the disease to enjoy the short life they may have with us. Through toys, gifts and holidays with their families the charity helps to give these children happy and fulfilling lives.
